Laura Pereda Briones working with seagrass seeds in hydraulic flume

Laura Pereda Briones is a researcher at the seagrass ecology lab in Kristineberg marine station. She is conducting experiments with the hydraulic flume to study the effects of flow on the dispersal, transport, and trapping of three different seagrass species: Posidonia oceanica, Cymodocea nodosa, and Zostera marina. Her work aims to better understand the mechanisms of seagrass seed dispersal and to inform conservation and restoration efforts.
